How a visit goes
Ten minutes with a clinician. Then the chair is yours.
No online quiz decides your drip. A nurse or physician assistant checks your vitals, asks about your health and medications, and tells you plainly if an IV is not the right call today.
What to expect on your first visitBook or walk in
Pick a lounge and a time, or just come by before 7pm.
Screening
Vitals, history, medications, and the reason you came in.
Mixed to order
Your drip is prepared in the room after the clinician signs off.
Settle in
Recline, read, nap. Tea and blankets are on the house.
Plain talk
What a drip can and can't do.
We would rather you leave informed than impressed. This is the list our clinicians go through with every new guest.
A drip can
- Deliver fluids and electrolytes directly, which some people find helpful after heat, travel, or exertion.
- Deliver vitamins at levels oral supplements cannot reach, when a clinician decides that is appropriate.
- Give you an hour in a quiet room with a blanket, which is sometimes the real point.
A drip can't
- Cure a hangover, a cold, or an illness, or replace care from your own doctor.
- Detox you, reverse aging, or boost your immune system in any proven way.
- Be safe for everyone. Heart, kidney, and some other conditions rule it out. That is what the screening is for.
The lounges
Three rooms we would happily spend an hour in.
Reclining chairs, soft light, a long table for people who came together, and a back room for people who came alone. Open every day, eight to eight.

Questions
The things people ask at the front desk.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk-ins are welcome at all three lounges until 7pm. Booking guarantees a chair at a specific time, which matters on weekends and holiday mornings.
Who puts the IV in?
A registered nurse. The screening before it is done by a nurse or a physician assistant working under a medical director. If the screening says no, you will not be charged.
Does it hurt?
A small pinch when the cannula goes in, then usually nothing. Tell your nurse if anything feels cold, tight, or wrong. Some ingredients can cause flushing or a metallic taste, and you will be told which ones before they are mixed.
Can I bring someone?
Yes. The communal table was built for friends who come in together, and Culver City has a private room for two. Guests who are not receiving a drip are welcome to sit with you.
