About Juniper
An IV lounge that tells you the truth.
Juniper started with a simple complaint: most IV lounges promised too much. We wanted a room where the chairs were better, the clinicians were in charge, and the copy on the wall would pass a doctor's sniff test.
The idea
Clinic standards. Living-room comfort.
Every drip we pour is a prescription-level treatment, so we run the clinical side like a clinic: a licensed clinician screens every guest, a registered nurse places every line, and a physician medical director writes the rules. That part is not negotiable and never will be.
Everything else we run like a good living room. Chairs you can actually sleep in. Light that is not fluorescent. Tea that is not an afterthought. A communal table for people who come together and a quiet room for people who do not.
We also decided early on to be boring about claims. No detox. No immunity boost. No anti-aging. If the evidence is thin, we say so on the menu and again in the room.
House rules
Five things we won't bend on.
- No. 1
A clinician decides, not a menu.
You can pick a drip online. Whether you get it is decided in the room after a screening, and the answer is sometimes no.
- No. 2
No charge for a no.
If the screening rules out an IV today, you pay nothing. We would rather lose the sale than pour something we should not.
- No. 3
Say what it is, not what it might do.
Menu descriptions list ingredients and honest expectations. Words like detox, boost, and cure do not appear on our walls.
- No. 4
Send people to real care.
Fatigue, pain, repeated dehydration, and illness deserve a doctor. Our clinicians will tell you when a lounge is the wrong place to be.
- No. 5
Single-use everything.
Sealed components, mixed in front of you, discarded after. No multi-dose vials, no pre-mixed bags waiting around.
- And
A chair worth the hour.
Not a rule, exactly. But if you are going to sit for an hour, it should be in the best chair you have sat in all week.
How we're run
Who is responsible for what.
- Medical director. A licensed physician who sets screening criteria, approves every menu item and dose range, and reviews incidents.
- Screening clinicians. Nurse practitioners and physician assistants who assess each guest and decide what, if anything, to pour.
- Infusion nurses. Registered nurses who prepare drips, place lines, and monitor every guest.
- Lounge hosts. The people who make the room feel like a room.
Juniper IV is a fictional practice. No individuals are named because none exist. A real lounge would publish its medical director's name and license information here.
Come see the room.
The fastest way to understand Juniper is to sit in one of the chairs. Walk in any day before 7pm, or book one.
