What's in it
- 1L IV fluids
- B-complex
- Vitamin B12
A focused option built around the B vitamins. If a blood test has shown you are low in B12, this is a conversation worth having with your clinician, who can also discuss whether injections or oral supplements would be a better fit for you than an infusion.
Often a good fit
- People with a documented B12 deficiency, after clinician review
- Those who prefer fewer ingredients
Skip it, or ask first, if
- You have not yet had a conversation about what is actually causing fatigue
- You are under 18, pregnant, or breastfeeding, unless a clinician has specifically cleared it.
In the chair
Plan on about 45 minutes once the drip starts, plus ten minutes of screening before. A nurse places a small cannula, usually in the forearm or hand, checks on you throughout, and removes it when the bag is done. You can read, work, nap, or talk to whoever came with you. Most people walk out and get on with their day.
