What's in it
- 1L IV fluids
- Glutathione (IV push)
Glutathione is often marketed for skin, detox, and anti-aging. We do not make those claims. This session is for people who have read about it, want to discuss it with a clinician who will be straight with them, and understand that benefits for healthy adults are not well established.
Often a good fit
- An informed conversation about a widely marketed ingredient
Skip it, or ask first, if
- You have asthma, which can be aggravated by glutathione
- You expect a cosmetic result
- You are under 18, pregnant, or breastfeeding, unless a clinician has specifically cleared it.
In the chair
Plan on about 60 minutes once the drip starts, plus ten minutes of screening before. A nurse places a small cannula, usually in the forearm or hand, checks on you throughout, and removes it when the bag is done. You can read, work, nap, or talk to whoever came with you. Most people walk out and get on with their day.
