COMMON QUESTIONS

Good questions.
Thoughtful answers.

Start here, then discuss your own eyes and expectations with a qualified eye surgeon.

Am I a candidate for LASIK?

An examination is necessary. Your prescription, eye health, corneal measurements, tear film, age, and medical history all affect the decision. A website cannot determine suitability.

How are LASIK and PRK different?

LASIK uses a corneal flap, while PRK treats the surface after removing the outer cell layer. Recovery and risks differ. Read the comparison guide and discuss both with your surgeon.

What does ICL mean?

ICL describes an implantable lens placed within the eye without replacing its natural lens. It is an intraocular procedure with its own eligibility requirements and risks.

Is vision correction risk-free?

No. Potential effects include dry eyes, glare, halos, persistent visual symptoms, and incomplete correction. Serious complications and vision loss are possible. Risks vary by procedure and patient.

Will I ever need glasses again?

You may still need glasses after treatment. Vision and focusing ability also change with age. LASIK does not stop presbyopia, the age-related loss of near focusing ability.

How long is recovery?

The procedure and your individual healing determine the timeline. Early improvement does not mean healing is complete. Follow your surgeon’s advice about driving, work, exercise, and scheduled follow-up.

How should I prepare for a consultation?

Bring prescription history, a medication list, and your questions. Ask the practice about contact lens wear and examination preparation. Our question planner can help organize discussion topics.

Is the consultation planner a real booking system?

This is a website concept. You can try the complete flow, but it does not send a request, reserve a time, or provide medical care. Use the sample contact details provided.
