More than a procedure

Your eyes.
Your everyday.
Your own way forward.

Vision correction is about more than an eye chart. It's the early surf check, the late drive home, the small details in a day that's entirely yours.

Explore the possibilities with a clear view of the tradeoffs. The right first step is understanding your eyes.

These options are not interchangeable. An eye examination determines whether any procedure is appropriate. Glasses and contact lenses remain alternatives.

A little less unknown

First, we
see you.

Your prescription is one part of the story. Your eye health, daily routines, and expectations matter too.

01

Understand the whole eye.

Discuss corneal measurements, prescription stability, and the health of the ocular surface.

02

Make the tradeoffs clear.

Ask about night vision, dry eye, recovery, and the possibility of still needing glasses.

The questions behind the decision

Let's make
room for them.

Explore all questions ↗
How do I know if LASIK is right for me?

An in-person examination is the starting point. Prescription stability, corneal shape and thickness, dry eye, and other health factors all matter. An online quiz cannot establish eligibility.

Will I still need glasses?

You may. Surgery does not guarantee perfect vision, and age-related near-vision changes can still create a need for reading glasses. Discuss the vision you can reasonably expect with your surgeon.

What should I know about the risks?

LASIK may cause or worsen dry eye and visual symptoms such as glare and halos. Incomplete correction, infection, flap complications, and loss of vision are possible. Explore the risks and alternatives before choosing treatment.
