How we approach it

Peels are chosen by depth and ingredient for your skin type and goal. Light peels brighten with little downtime. Medium peels do more for pigment and texture but ask for a week of flaking and sun avoidance. Your esthetician will tell you exactly which one and why, and skin of color is treated with the extra care it deserves.

• Strict sun protection after
• Isotretinoin in the last six months postpones treatment
• Deeper peels on darker skin require a conservative approach
• You must be 18 or older. Results vary, and a consultation is required before any treatment.

The visit

1. Consultation. Complimentary, 30 minutes, with the person who would treat you. You leave with a written plan and total.
2. Treatment. About 45 minutes. Numbing where it helps, photographs with your consent, aftercare in writing.
3. Follow-up. A two-week check for injectables, with adjustments at no charge. Skin and laser series are planned on a calendar with you.
